5.0 vs 4.6 and chip or not chip
Which is better with bolt ons? 5.0's or 4.6's mustangs for xsample: heads, cam full exhaust with o/r xpipe and header long tube, 3.73 gears, and a good tune.
Second question: i'm getting my 89 5.0 dyno tuned will i need some kind of chip to do it? I was told that i need to have a chip put in so it can be tuned through my computer thats in my car is this true? I have all the bolt ons that you can put on "I mean EVERY BOLT ON" i want to keep it N/A. Can you help with questions Thanks.

Well, let me put it this way: My buddy has a HCI 95 Cobra with 3.73's that puts down 300 rwhp. When we run (my mods and #'s in my sig, and i'm running n/a of course) we are practically dead even! Before anyone may doubt this, we both dynoed on the same dyno, tuned at the same shop, and both of us can drive.
I'm sure you can do the math!

If your an s-197 troll here to stir the pot with 5.0 foe then your thread will be done as quick as it started, keep it civil or it's closed............as far as your 89 with every bolt on, I assume it has an h/c/i cause if the term "every" doesn't include such then a dyno tune/chip is a waste.
