Exclamation '93 gt, cobra grill?

hey i have a '93 mustang gt. and i was wondering how hard it is to put in a cobra grill on the gt bumper. do you have to cut the bumper? or do you have to cut the hood? and installation info would be great

it is very easy, a template is given. all you do is trace it onto the bumper then cut it out. 3m double sided tape.

With mine, it seems like the contour of the bumper doesn't quite match the contour of the grill insert... :-\

Really? that sucks man. The one I bought said that it was OEM fit and it was. It fit perfectly.

Well, I got the insert and bumper both from LRS, so it could be the bumper.

I put one in my LX. Just cut and glue it in. I also molded mine in so it looks factory. Mine fit great.

I used bumper repair adhesive to glue it on and fill the gap, sanded it smooth, then I used a bodyfiller to blend it.

Awesome! I've got some bumper repair to fix my rear bumper, if I have some left over I definitely have to try this!
