Default A9L or A9P??

Going to finally convert to mass air. I have a 87 gt 5speed. Now which ecu do i need?

I got the A9P do to the no rev limiter and aggressive timing. I got the complete harness, is there anything i need to do beside plug in?

a9p's have rev limiters too.
