Default Hey Guys!! ? On Exhaust!!!

Hey whats up guys. I have a 1988 mustang LX Stock, with 3.73 gears and subframe connectors. I am looking to buy exhaust but short on budget. I was on American Muscle and really like the SLP loudmouth. The only thing is, its over 500$. I was scaning through and came accross SLP loudmouth 2 mufflers. My ? is, if I buy these mufflers will I get the same effect than buying the full exhaust. Plus if I decide to buy them, I will buy an off road "H" or "X" pipe as well. I would appricate any feedback and looking to post up pictures soon. I would also appricate feedback on any products and any suggestions.

Thanks, Joe

If you still have the stock cat back, it's 2.25" The slp is 2.50" Sure, you can have them welded in but thet'll have to be reduced for the stock piping. I have the slp 1's. Most ppl don't like them. Very loud. The 2's will be more subtle w/ a deeper tone but still be loud on acceleration.

I bought mine from brenspeed. He was the cheapest at the time. Give them a call and get a price. Tell them you are a member here.

I am happy with my Magnaflow cat-back. Really good flow and all stainless.
I've never heard the SLP set-up on a Stang, but don't care for the sound on a F-body GM (Camaro/Firebird). I also prefer the sound of the H-pipe over the X-pipe. The Summit brand O/R pipe is 2.5" and fits well.
