Default Extra Heat Insulation

When I had the 83 out last summer I could really feel the heat from the engine bay and trans tunnel areas. I didn't have carpet or the factory sound deadening in the car so that is obvious why it was hot. Who has used aftermarket sound deadeners and how well did it help with the heat and what not? Carpet will help to I know.

I heard theres this stuff at home depot thats like dynomat but ALOT cheaper, also theres a spray on thing that goes on the bottom of the car, looks like rhino liner and also cuts down on the noise and provides rust resistance also

Lol, I'm poor not cheap. The 93 has carpet in it already luckily but I was just thinking about that little extra.

I will have to check out Home Depot for the cheap stuff when I get back to the states.

Read this yesterday and couldn't think the the company.

Remembered it today out of the blue

http://www.thermotec.com/suppressor-...ntrol-mat.html

That is sapposed to be the best stuff you can by for heat/sound.

can use this product
http://www.thermotec.com/super-sonic...tical-mat.html

for sound denting only

NOT cheap, but will work damn well, ive heard countless people amazed by how good it works.

I plan on using it for the firewall, and front part of the floor board when i re-do the carpet and such.

hope this helps buddy.
