Default EFI Fuel Rail Adapters

Who has used the fuel rail adapters to run steel braided or rubber lines?

More importantly where the fuel lines disconnect under the frame rail which end is the male and which is the female end? I am wanting to keep the main lines that run from the tank to the front of the car without cutting into or removing the lines.
So I need to use some adapters such as

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RUS-640870/

but I wasn't sure if that is to run a hose/steel braided line into the stock rail or to run stock lines into a steel braided line for things such as carb. Anyone know????

I have those same fittings on my car. I disconnected the main lines right at the passenger sway bar, put the fittings on, then used twist lock hose to my fuel rails.

Thanks Prime. Are the stock lines a 3/8" and a 1/2"? That's what the kit I am looking at has in it, just making sure.
