I was wondering, the guy I bought my 93 notchback from said it had an e-303 cam in it but how do you really know for sure? It pulls really hard at 3500 rpm, like another powerband. I was just curious if there is any actual way to know. Thanks
Keith

The part number is in the back isn't it? Pulling the timing cover won't tell you much without pulling the cam. Use a dial indicator to measure how far your rocker arm raises on the pushrod end. The B is lees then the E. The B also has a very narrow powerband. Like 3500 to 5500.
