Default changed the lifters in my buddys 5.0 check what we found

ok so i went to my buddys house to change his lifters cuz he recently had surgery on his arm and couldnt do it by himself. it was making a horrific noise from the drivers side head. anyways i took the upper and lower off and the valve cover to find this.

see how recessed that back lifter is?

its hard to see but the cam is kinda rough

we just replaced the lifter and put it back together. it runs good for now but for how long? haha

anyone have n e idea what would have caused that? the lifters are not very old. maybe like a year or so...

BBGay anything is useless. me and my buddy have had nothing but problems with all of their stuff.

the flanges on our h-pipes kept falling off the "ball" so we had to tack weld them on. my bbk tb kept sticking and made a high pitched whine so i bought an accufab (love it btw). and then his tb does this and the bbk cai doesnt fit on right either..

the only BBGay as you put it, part I have on my car is some equal length shorties... and aside from looking like complete ass, I think they may have been ceramic, but looks so crappy now I cant tell, they work well I think... and I'll switch to better headers when I need to... the previous owner put them on, so I could care less until they crack or something
