Default what aluminum radiator and electric fan combo have best clearance for blower?

My stock fan is horribly cracked and figure now is the time to change over to an electric fan. And as long as I am in that general area I would like to get an aluminum radiator as well. I'm running a vortech s-trim and noticed that the upper radiator hose comes very close to the blower pulley with the stock radiator. So if I go to a thicker aluminum unit I might be running into trouble. What is everyone running as far as aluminum radiators and electric fans on their blown cars? I know I can't be the only guy with a s/c to run into this problem, lol. What aluminum radiator and electric fan combo fits the best and where can I buy them? Whats tried and true? Appreciate the help.

I run a Taurus 3.8L E-fan with an AutoZone aluminum radiator with plastic tanks. I am not supercharged, but I don't know why this combo wouldn't keep yours cool as well. My fan rarely runs unless stuck in traffic or the a/c is on.

ya but hes talking about fit. the sc can get in the way of the rad. my buddy had a sn89 on his car and hit the aluminum rad so he had to put a stock setup back on. granted this one was kinda thick. if you go with a stock thickness or slightly thicker you should be fine

I think this one is a tad thinner than the OEM unit that I removed in the center. The tanks are about the same.

I have a silla 2 row. It keeps your stock mounting brackets so, that should be the same.

all that really matters is the thickness of the rows. Larger tanks won't really do you any good.

you want to find a stock size unit. Anything wider and you will be deleting the ac.
