Default where should i run my positive trunk battery wire?

i just got my battery relocation kit from ebay for a mere $70. where do people normally run the postive wire throughout the car? do people do it inside the cab or under the chassis? any help is appreciated.

If I remember right NHRA rules says it is supposed to be on the outside of the car so they probably run it down the frame rail but there are probably only a few who really do that. You can run it right down the side of the car and out the firewall somewhere, most likely drilling your own hole.

What size wires did that kit give your? What kind of battery mount?

i ran mine inside and the car and iirc, i read the 2009 nhra rules(i think they were the official rules) there is no requirement of where you can/can't run your positive battery wire.

Probably the easy/best way to do it is inside the cabin. If you are planning on NHRA racing the car, hope you got a switch kit to go withe the relocation stuff.......

i dont plan on running NHRA, the kit came with 2g postive and ground wires. also came with battery terminals with the screw on butterfly nut.

There are many pros and cons to each but if you are all concerned. You should consider moving the solenoid to the back, with the battery. So your Positive wire is dead until cranking.

how would i go about moving my solenoid to the back? wouldnt i need to extend a whole bunch of wires that connect to the solenoid?

I ran mine through the hole in spare tire area then down the subframe and then up through the top of my kmember n to the solenoid
