Default weld rims for my 87

sup guys its been a long time. I am looking to buy a set of weld draglite rims for my 87 gt and was looking for advice. It is still a four lug pony. Does anyone know the offset ,backspacing and lug pattern for the rims I am looking for. I am looking at a set of 15x10 for the rear from summit. Is it possible to get a wider rim under the rear of the pony and what size tires should I run. Any advice about this can only help even if I need shave fenders. Anything I miss or u can think of just add.

4x4.25 is the lug pattern from what I remember. Most people use a 15x8 rim with 5.5" backspacing. I havent used a 10" rim before. Sorry Im not much help

unless you are making ALOT of power, you should stick with a 15x8.

Lets try to remember that the outlaw 10.5 class racers run 8-9 second passes on nothing more than a 10.5" tire.... most 10.5's use a 8" wheel

For 8" you need 5.5 backspacing and for 10" i THINK you need 6.5 backspacing, but just go with a 8", 10" is overkill

Yes I know 10 is over kill but I only plan to do it once and for it to suport what ever I decide to throw at it. Ummmm plus I like over kill and that meaty look under my fenders no matter the pain it takes to make it work.

For a 10" wheel you will need 6.5 bs. You may have to play with spacers to push it out alittle.

You are correct except for the overkill. I run 10's on the street. 8's at the track
