Got a trade offer.. 88 gt fox or 94 gt 5.0.. which one?
I have an 1988 GT and decided to throw it up on craigslist and see what i can get for it.. Got a 94 gt offer and cant decide what to do..
Heres some pros and cons of each
my fox:
bad: Needs a new paint job. Driver seat is messed up, Power steering pump is dead.. Interior needs a good shampooing. 171k miles.. Has a big chance of getting stolen here in norcal
Good: all panels have matching vin.. even the hood is original. ash tray door works!!!.. 5 speed, smogged and registered.
94 gt.
bad: an old lady tapped the right quarter panel and its been 100% fixed but someone must have been on drugs when they thought they were repainting with the same color. Driver seat is broken.
Good: rebuilt transmission with reciept. 111k miles, tuned up, automatic( could use as a daily driver).. The chance of it getting stolen is slim(gotta love california.. gotta watch your foxes like a hawk). Its been kept up well. guy is a mechanic.
Hope that is enough info to give you a good idea of what is there.. I have no good pics of my car or the 94 gt. What to do???????????

No deal I would sell the fox and get another fox one in better condition!I had a 95 and i really didn't care for it plus mods are alot cheaper 93 and older 5.0's

I was kinda thinking the same thing........I thought we had the same parts....who knew?
Well last time I checked mod prices for 4.6's are crazy and 94-95 are odd ball years water pumps are different and so on ..........ya I knew? Stick with a FOX lol

94-95's dont have 4.6's...
and if a water pump, is the only ammunition you have to down a superior platform... you need to make sure you head is screwed on straight
