Default 1994 cobra questions

So I got into an accident in my 00gt the other week, and have since been in search of another car. I found a 94 cobra for sale and it kind of caught my eye. Its white, 5spd, and has an o/r h pipe, with flows, CAI but other than that is completely stock car.

I really didn't know if there was any big difference between the cobra and the gt of that year. I used google and what I came up with was that the 94 cobra was a 5.0 and was rated at 5hp more than the standard gt at the time. So is it almost the same as the GT? Any major differences between the two platforms that I'm missing, or are they basically the same car.

Thanks for the help guys, heres a few pics as well. Its a very clean car, and btw, guy wants 5800 for it with 120k on the clock. Its a 2 owner vehicle and he's had it since the 19k mark with all the paper work. NADA books it at 5150, for a clean car, should I offer 5k, or is it actually worth more than that?

thats what I figured, google failed me lol. I couldn't imagine the GT and cobra being almost identical.

Anyone else know any other differences.

The Cobras were actually rated 240hp but was more realistically 270ish; about 220whp.

A lot of the main differences were already listed, there is other stuff like the white face gauges with 160mph speedo, lightened flywheel, 3.08 gears, 13" front brakes with dual piston calipers/11.65" vented rears, "cobra" on the steering wheel, engine oil cooler, etc. i'm sure there's stuff i'm forgetting. They also come with different springs but those should be changed anyways lol.

Don't be alarmed when the rear bumper doesn't say Cobra, it's not supposed to.

I wasn't lol, so is 5800 really a fair price for these cars, or would is the KKB and NADA correct and there only worth 5k with 120k miles on it.

I know they didn't make too many of them, just didn't know if that makes them more valuable yet.

5800 might be a little steep, it really depends what the market is like in your area and how clean the car is.
