Default GT40P Heads?

what all vehicles carry the GT40P heads? i know some explorer and jeeps had them. what year models? and is it a direct bolt on to my 5.0 or do i have to have them ported? any help would be appreciated

yes they are a direct bolt on but ull need machine work if u just pull them off an explorer

The only issue you will have with P heads is the park plug placement on them so you will have to get another another set of headers. FRPP's will work with them. BUT that doesn't require any machining....oo and jeeps do NOT have them.

It should say GTP towards the end of the head. and on one of the ends of the head it should have 4 bars if its a P head. if it has 3 then its just a gt40 head. I just have some ebay shorty headers and they work beautifully on there, all i had to get were different spark plug wires with 90 degree boots.
