Just putting on some lakewood lowers and in the directions it says that for drag racing the rear sway bar isn't recommended? Since all i'm really doing with this car is going fast in a straight line should I just leave it off? I never heard this before so i'll prolly just put it back on unless some people on here say otherwise.

You dont need it if youre just keeping to the straights. I didnt have one for a month or so when I swapped my CAs out, and it really wasnt that bad

Anti-sway bars aren't needed for 1/4 mile drag racing at all and can actually slow a car down. However, on the street, I personally feel removing them would be a big mistake and sacrifice the safe handling of the vehicle. Removing them will increase body lean/roll in turns and also increase shoulder wear on the tires, reducing the tires life. What is a good idea for a race car is not usually a good idea for a street driven car. Two entirely different worlds.
greddy you wont notice its gone. when i installed my lakewoods i didnt even think about putting mine back on. you will notice if you take the front sway bar off
my front ones still comin off though, I don't like curves anyways lol, but I actually thought that the rear sway bar helped at the track. I guess it's comin off to

Prepare for poor/dangerous handling, excessive body roll and poor tire wear then.

thats true. it did have a lot of body role. mine had limited drive time on the street but removing the sway bar did help the front end rise when i removed it which is why i took it off
