Default do i really need it

do I really need my strut tower brace alot of the intake manifolds ive been looking at have said that they wont clear a 94/95 strut brace

It doesn't, "have", to be there, no. But removing it will increase body flex and reduce handling.

They are a nice thing to have but no the brace is not needed.

i didnt really notice a difference when i took mine off my 95gt unless i was pushing it a little hard. if you drive sane i doubt you will notice it even missing

Changed my intake and got a BBK that went in no problem. Had to remove liner inside hood because intake touched. Close fit.

not all intakes are made the same. my strut bar wouldnt have came close to clearing with my track heat intake
