Any Ideas ya'll have for my 1st stang, Please let me know.

I ran it for about an hour last night. I think I have some vaccume leaks or a ignition switch plug?





But I want it to look like this!!!...

why is your emissions crap on the drivers side? and unpluged...........

the red hose coming out of your throttle body and going under the intake....... where does that go?


that's supposed to go from your throttle body to your valve cover, where you put the oil in the motor. as you can see, yours is plugged????

Ahhh. I see. That's the way the car was when I got it. Could this be my problem? Also my buddies brother has a 1988 5.0 that I can look at, And compair. Like ive said in the past, This is my first gasser/stang. So im learning.

I paid $800, So what would this hurt my motor?

if you have a bad vaccum leak, you can be pulling to much air into the motor, it will burn lean, and burn up pretty much everything

let me look around for some pictures and see if i can find anything to help.

$800 isn't bad at all. what are your plans with it?

Well, I don't know yet. Get it street legel, Tags are 2 years out. My buddy is trying to get me to swap it over to a carb...I don't know if I want to do that. But MAF swap is gonna happen soon. I'd like a mild cam, Flowmaster 40's. I was thinking nitous??? or procharger. But that's while down the road.
