you could always ( if you REALLY wanted to do this) take said muffler. cut a square out of the top of it, and take the guts out ( spotwelds im guessing) THEN take a piece of exhaust tubing and run straight through the muffler, and weld the top back on. grind the welds, paint it. put it back in place and you will have a straight pipe exhaust with the look of a muffler...

Heard they are making Cherry Bomb mufflers again. Back in the 60's you could look through them. Loud.

If you want something that is loud, go with the cherrybomb extreme mufflers, they are identical to the flowmaster 10 series, but the cherrybombs are like $30-40 a muffler compared to a $100-110 flowmaster.

Dont put glass packs on it, they sound gay. Get some 40 series, i had those on my hatch dumped and it has a really deep nice sound.. Or if you want a sick sound that isnt to loud get some slp lm2 mufflers.

i really like my mac mufflers. they sound real good and have a nice crack sound at about 2500 when you are giving it a bit of gas. plus they are different from your everyday flowmaster.

check out the exhaust sticky. my setup is on the first page

http://mustangforums.com/forum/5-0-m...on-thread.html

the catback was about $300 but if you just wanted the mufflers they were like $70 ea
