Canfield heads vs twisted wedges
theyre 58cc chamber
192cc runner
flowed 292 on the intake and 243 on the exhaust
2.02/1.60 valves
7/16" studs
1.52" double springs...i guess its setup for a solid roller cam
$800 used!
or twisted wedges used for the same price.

hey if i swap for canfields and i know you got a set yourself is there anything else I would need if I do pick them up the Canfields like ptv issues or converting my car to solid roller would i need special rockers?
Its my first time digging into my engine and its bone stock all I need is heads cam and a timing chain more than likely...everything else is sitting in my parts bin waiting to be installed

grab those heads YESTERDAY...
those heads offer some serious flow potential, but the stock pistons are really limiting what youre able to so, you might also want to swap in a set of different pistons that will let you run a lot more duration than the stockers.
if youre set on keeping the stock bottom end, call Jay at Cam Innovations, and have him make a cam that will work with those heads and the stock pistons.
if the heads are already set up for a solid roller you can (obviously) get a custom solid roller, or a hyd roller and the springs will be fine for just about hyd roller you can throw at it.
any 7/16th roller rocker (1.6 or 1.7) will do, just make sure you check ptv no matter what.

Yeah, you are going to need to have the pistons cut to run the 2.02 intake valves on stock pistons with the Canfield heads. The Twisted Wedge heads will clear without machining. Unfortunately, without magnafluxing the heads, you may not see any cracks with the naked eye.

haha whys that?
I did not know the pistons would have to be cut...I'm guessin i gotta pull the slugs and send them to a machine shop for that that...DAMN that sucks
