what about a complete long block the numbers you are looking at isnt that much you could get a frpp crate put it in call it a day and then u would have a solid motor that will handle more idk my take on it, in my mind this would be a cheaper route in the long run

If you want 400 at the crank, that is easy, and can pass emissions pretty damn easy.

If you want 400 at the wheels then I would go with a 351 punched out to a 408. In my state it is legal to do a engine swap and pass emissions as long as the engine you are swaping into the car is newer.

I advise you read A LOT more before you start spending money, and figure out what YOU want out of the car better.
i want a reliable combo...i don't see why i should need to keep changing my engine setup if it's done correct the 1st setup

swap is legal here if its same year or newer(i don't know but i think it cant be a truck engine)

are dss and ford strokers a good source they seem to be in my price range

wow, bumping a 2 and a half year old thread.................... what in the hell...

If all you have is a nitrous bottle, you will need lines to get the nitrous to the front of the car, to a nitrous solenoid, that is wired properly (arming switch, and WOT button) then line from the solenoid to a nozzle/plate, ETC Doesn't include the fuel side of a nitrous kit, if you want to use a "wet" kit.

Why buy just a nitrous bottle? Why not buy an entire kit!?

I got it in a trade .I want to set this thing up to run directly to the intake(tube/not really trying to tap my throttle body at the moment .Does that cover it ?All you listed ?.Thanks for the response i just threw up a video on my youtube channel but i took it down, ill put up some more shortly.
As far as the setup im aiming for with nitrous i'd like to get this thing working without any upgrades needed .Colder plugs are fine im not looking to go into fuel upgrades as i plan on running it as a dry kit. i do plan on running a higher flowing fuel pump i am past due for,Until then im just working on a junkyard budget .Feel free to let my know if anyone has some pieces(hoses, solinoids ecte )laying around and willing to get rid of for cheap or no price.

My long term goals are 150 shot maybe 200 as for now ive read around a bit and 100 shot seems to be around the maxx safe level of spray before upgrades correct me if im wrong..
I do plan to launching on nitrous and spray for 5-10 seconds safely.
