Default What distributor for my 91 LX?

I ignorantly put in a Cardone distributor and the gear that's spun by the cam sheared off after about a month of driving. I get on it at least every other day so I'm not surprised the cheap material that dizzy gear is likely made of didn't hold up.

Where should I look to find a more proper distributor? I need one with a more durable gear on the distributor.

I have a trickflow cam to the best of my knowledge, something like a 512/498 lift. Ideas?

Thanks!
-Mike

There is nothing wrong with a Cardone dizzy.

If the autoparts store dizzy/motorcraft dizzy isn't good enough... maybe you have other problems.

Or you got a faulty dizzy.

If you want to drop unnecessary money on a dizzy go look at MSD or Mallory.
