Oooo don't worry its not that I won't get them eventually BUT I still need my valve springs and then the stuff for my 5 lug first. THEN I can get my connectors. I was supposed to get them with my tax check but I never made it out there to get them and now I am broke lol. I will SOMETIME!

I did get the oil pan cleaned up and bolted on for good along with the timing cover, water pump, and the balancer. If I stay up tonight I am going to work on port matching the carb spacer to my intake and vice versa to get the smooth transition. Pics to come later!

I have been trimming and setting up the frame rails over the last couple of days little by little. I am almost to the point where I will start reattaching the front end again. I have also been making plans for what parts I will be purchasing soon. When I get my per diem (travel pay) in I will most likely be ordering my valve springs, valve spring shims, and ball joint boots. Then heading to the junk yard to get some good parts hopefully. I am really wanting to get this thing put together and running since I have pretty much everything I need. I just need to get the front end done! Hopefully something happens tonight.

This morning I made a few cuts on the frame to get the front end lined up. I still have alot of cleaning to do on it before I put everything back together but thats not that big of a deal.

Earlier today I scrubbed down my front control arms so I can get ready to sand them and give them a nice coat of black paint.

Tonight I finally got around to dropping the gas tank. There really isn't any rust that I can see on the car..................because it was all in the gas tank! I don't see how this car was running very well 2-3 years ago with the tank looking as rusted as it was. Maybe it did get that bad that quick who knows. The sending unit and the fuel pump were covered in rust and grime/varnish from the 1/4 tank of gas that was left in it. Luckily after a little cleaning and lubing the sending unit it does seem to work correctly by the ohm readings. I am glad I am not running the electric pump in this thing though because the bottom of it was trashed. The only rusty part of the tank that I can really see though are the baffles in it as you see in the pics of it below.

Since my camera woman is in bed because its 2AM I snapped a pic of myself...

My 83's tail lights donated to the 93..

Then last but not least the leaning tower of wheels in my garage.....
