93 Reborn Build

No its from the moisture of only having part of a tank of gas. That is why its said to have a fuel tank when you put a vehicle in storage. I think its looks worse than it really is. I know the stuff on the sending unit pretty much wiped off so I picked up 3 galloons of vinigar to help clean the tank out. The acid in the vinigar helps eat through rust. After I dump that I will mix some baking soda and water to nuetralize it. I just don't want to mess with dumping it or syphoning the old gas out...oo well its part of it lol.

I have some bad news and some good news. Bad news is I just seen that the bottom of the 93's tank has 2 huge dents in it so I will not be using it. Good news is that I do have another EFI tank and it is clean on the inside so I do not have to worry about cleaning out the rust! THANK YOU 83! Bad news about that one is that it has some surface rust on the outside of it so I do have to clean the outside of it but I was going to give it a real nice coat of paint . The 93 will be on hiatus for a few days though because I am about to put a new motor in a 95 Sentra for a friend to make some extra cash so the project is getting put outside for a little while.

I am too. I Just about have all the extra metal trimmed and cut to get the welding started but I havn't messed with the loud work yet.
I am trying out the whole vinegar getting rid of rust thing on the sending unit. The one in the 83's tank is worn out and not worth using so the 93's will be put in when the time comes.

Hey, if you posted a little DYI w/ pictures on doing the front radiator support that would be AWESOME. I'm about to get into mine myself and I'm not exactally sure how to go about it (not sure if I should cut back past the support or if i shld drill out all 934 spotwelds n just replace)
