Well I got a chance to play with my motor a little bit last night. Without knowing it my motor had broken one of the 2 bolts that hold the cam thrust plate on and busted one of the ears off the plate. It wasn't a surprise to me luckily because I had opened up the motor last year and found the issue.
I couldn't get the bolt extracted so I just had to drill out the bolt and tapped the whole for a bigger bolt. instead of the 1/4 20 thread it is now a 5/16 18 thread (at least I think it was a 18). Either way it went down smoothly and now I can button up the bottom half of my motor finally once I get the gaskets.

Looks like you are on your way. Where is your swaybar? Did you ever figure out what you were doing for the five lug conversion? Lots of work left.

That huge thing is sitting under the motor in one of the pics. I removed it awhile back. I am going to probably stick with the SN stuff from the junk yard to help make the steering better. I'm still keeping your offer on the table just in case I can't find what I need. I haven't made a trip to the junk yard yet due to the weather.
