3rd stang, first full project!!
Well my first project of my own begins! Already have a 01 v6 convertible (first car/lightly modded mostly appearance) and a 85 gt with 347 stroker (weekend warrior)but as of two Wednesdays ago, a good buddy of mine(has 81 stang w/4 cyl) mentioned that a friend of his found a donor car with a hopped up 302 that my buddy needed to put in his 81. So after I got out of class he informed me of the donor car and wanted me to go pick it up with my truck and trailer. The donor car was a 82 t-top 302 4spd. Nearly perfect condition! 2 small rust spot in rear fenders…the rest clean!
I was in no need nor was I looking for a project but if I was to pick up the 82 I could have it in payment for traveling to Pennsylvania to pick it up!! well long story short, I drove out Friday morning at 1:15 a.m. because there was a big snowstorm that was bringing 8 to 10 inches of snow that same day. We arrived in PA at 6:30 a.m. was nice easy 5 hr drive and we met the owner at 8 after getting some sleep in mc donalds parking lot. We drove car around, looked it over, paid him, loaded it up and booked it back to Indiana to beat the snow………... Verrrrryyy slow and snowy drive starting 20minutes into Ohio and then through out the rest of the trip. Got back Friday at 3p.m. so now we have the mustang at the shop and we ended up getting total of 14.5inches of snow and Pittsburgh got 18 inches (we got lucky).
Now trying to decide best motor/trans combo for goal of 400-450 hp. 347, 351w, or 351c.
im 20, in school and working if anyone has parts (engine) let me know and we might be able to work something out. Since time wont be on my side as I will be trying to get ready for mustang week 2010 just wanting to get running and then make look good later. 4th year and 2nd year of actually bringing a mustang to MW

Hey, welcome to the forums!
First, lets see some pictures of this car! lol Sounds like you got yourself something nice. As far as accomplishing your goal of 450hp, there are about 101 ways to do that. Depends on what your using the car for, goals, budget, etc.
POST SOME PICS!
Also, I feel like I shouldnt have to ask this, but where and when is Mustang week???
