Default 4 cyl springs

Anyone here with 4cyl springs have to cut them to lower the ride height? I installed a brand new set of them a while ago and my car still sits about 2 inches or more above the front tire. Was thinking about cutting a full coil off and see where it sits... any opinions??

You have to drive around on them to allow them to settle just like any other springs.

I had them installed right before the winter so that should have been enough time. Here's a picture when they were first installed, it may not look that high but they are.

I will get a more recent picture that shows the ride height now but i want it a little lower. Would the kind of strut make a difference?? I have Lakewood 90/10s

Struts/shocks have no baring on ride height.

Does the car sit higher then it did originally?

I want to say the same or higher as when installed, i will take pics tomorrow and post them up. Would the springs being progressive or standard matter?

The 4 cyl springs have a smaller spring rate so either way they will settle down more than stock v8 springs will.

Get lowring springs? The spring rate difference between v8 and 4 cyl is not that much...
