I agree with you guys. Dont get me wrong, i love the way it looks but i would have never spent that kind of money to do it. I looked up the Florida cluster and it sell's anywhere from $600-$800. I just did a quick search, it might can be picked for less.

Thats what i'm figuring on motor. The 200 shot would most likely have me in bottom 10's but i'm going to change that out to about a 125-150 shot. I'd rather not split the block.........for a little while at least. But when it goes i'll be going Dart.

It is an evac set up. I havnt hardly had time to look at it and i dont know much about them. I was told it was put there to minimize blow by while spraying it. I need to research it a little.

Hey, i just found out how to multi quote. I'm slo but sho! Yea, i definately need to change the sig soon. I'm glad to be back. I've been concentrating on bass fishing and tournaments in my free time lately. But i have missed the racing scene so i'm going to try and do both.

No doubt. I had just put a ad in our local Ga forum the night before. I had posted that i was wanting a coupe and looking to pay 8-10k. That was on Monday nite. There was this guy in Kentucky who had a 85 GT for sale. R block stroked to 347. Art Carr tranny w/ 4500 stall and a 8 pt. He started at 12k and i told him i couldnt pay that much for something i really wasnt looking for. He kept emailing and texting and on tuesday morning he texted and said he would take $8500. I work owl shift and i told him i would call when i got to work Tuesday nite. I didnt tell him i'd buy it but that is what i was planning to do. When i got to work i decided to check the ad i had posted but i didnt figure there wouldnt be anything there. Well, when i went to check it the guy had just made his own ad 30 minutes before i checked it. I went out and called him and told him i would see him Friday morning. There were a few that were upset they didnt get a chance to jump on it first. This guy sends me pics Thursday nite of him cleaning it up. He even filled the tank right before i met him on Friday. Not many people like that anymore. You know, since it was already sold and him doing what he did. Heck, i thought that was awesome. He met us at the gas station in the car and we were going to follow him home. He matted it and left 2 black marks about 30ft long. I asked my buddy how fast were we going and he said 45mph. The way i look at it......if a guy is selling junk he's not going to do that before he gets money in his hands, so that told me it was built right. We got back to his place and he handed me the keys and said take if for a drive i said, i dont need to, i've seen all i need to see. I told him to load it on the trailor and we sat around BS'ing for a while and then we were on our way. Guys around here cant believe the great price i got but he had another toy, a truck and they just found out they were having a kid and he wanted to unload it.

To be honest. I payed $5200 for my car because I thought it was good. Ive dumped another $7k I think into it. and that is a lot more car then mine.
