I am from Alabama, less than 100 miles from ptc. EVERYONE gets their converters from them. They do good work, rebuilding them and new. Kenny Ford is the guy that does the building.

I am trying to find one that has a warranty, they don't offer one. Thinking of the patc converter it's $315 and comes with a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty

The guys at PTC are a good crew....and they are former TCI employees....which when Kenny left, the rest(4 or 5) went with him. Maybe that tells ya something. They will build whatever your heart desires, whether it be a nitrous converter, turbo, nat aspirated, etc. If YOU GIVE THEM GOOD INFO,then you will get a good piece to work with. I know Kenny and Lane and they and their guys are at the drag races EVERY weekend playing with their stuff....oh, and they have TWO tranny/converter dyno's if you care to know specifics, call them

i used to have a 3200 stall in a car a few years ago. It was a tci converter. My car now is a 5-speed. it is just a street car with a supercharger. if i ever build a race car, I will go auto again. I would like to build a car with a powerglide.
