car wont start

Default car wont start

just put in an msd dist and coil. changed plugs, put #1 at tdc and rotor to #1 on cap freakin car wont start. what the hell. the dist is for my 94 5.0 its got spark and fuel but wont fire up when you turn the dist to advance or retard it you can hear it wants to pop off but wont. is there something i did wrong. any help asap is appreciated

msd distributors suck. take it out and put the stocker back in

sounds like your distributor is not on TDC if your sure you have good strong spark and fuel its usually a timing issue. or firing order

just in case u didnt do this, take #1 plug out put your thumb on the hole, crank engine untill the compression blows your thumb off. look at your balancer make sure your 0 degree mark is aligned with your timing pointer. but double check your firing order before u do too much work.

got it figured out car runs great i was 180 degrees off thanks to all who tryed to help me
