Can someone get under their car and snap a picture to show me how the front turn signals mount to the bumper or wherever? Specifically 1985 style bumper

no the bumper is the metal bar that runs across the width of the car. the bumper cover is the outside and its held in palce by the bumper cover support that goes on the inside of the bumper cover, i think its all one piece but can be seperated.

let me see if i can find pictures

EDIT: Sorry for the super ****ty pictures

No thats perfect. Thanks man Ive been trying to figure this out for weeks. I have a 90 hatchback with an 85 front end but im missing the entire bumper assembly thats why I couldnt figure this out. Now I have to scour the junkyards for that cross bumper piece and I should be good.

You didn't realize you needed a metal support going across the front of the car?
Every car I know of that has a bumper cover has a metal bumper underneath... how could you not know that?
