Where to locate a 302 block or short block

Was hoping to solicit you all on good places to look for a 302 block or short block. Also, is it better to purchase a short block, or just rebuild a used block?

eBay, Craigslist, Salvage Yards, Junk Yards, Forums, and buy a new one?
