Default Looking for cheap upgrade heads to match new intake

Just bought a gt40 upper and lower intake, interested in buying cast iron heads to match.

Not to interested in putting , a lot of $$ into my engine now. Id rather save up for a bigger motor.

But since thats a while down the road:

What do you think of these heads:

How do i make 351 heads work on a efi 302?

Like i was thinking of getting some gt40s off a explorer, but apartent sell is saying these are better?

you realize that its $300 for unassembled heads.... right?

they are basically the cae as GT-40's. with the exception that you can get ready to run gt-40's for $300

Everywhere, GT40P's are the expensive ones.

well that sucks i had a set of gt40ps a while back i was looking for gt40s because i didnt want to deal with the exhaust / spark plug issue

But anyway, apparently these heads here are to old to be used, with wasnt until 77 until this could be a simple bolt on and go ordeal

I can get them for $35 a head here. DOOE heads will bolt up and work. You just need to get some bushings to use. The 351 heads have 1/2 inch head studs while 302's use 7/16. ALTHOUGH you will also need those bushings on GT40 heads as well.

gt-40 heads on a 302 should need no bushings if they came from a 302 motor

I read somewhere some time ago about GT40's having 1/2 holes. Mine did.... Not sure what they came off of but I do know they have a F3 (obviously....) casting. Got a set of bushings and installed them with no issues.
