Rear brakes locking up easy
This isn't for the Mustang but the 93 F150 that I have, if you touch the brakes at a low speed the rear brakes lock up easily. I'm honestly a noob when it comes to drum brakes and what to do to fix it.. Any pointers?

yup^^^^^^^^^^^^first try and clean the brake dust out of the drums as well as off the shoes and lube the contact points for the shoes on the backing plates then with 40 or 80 grit sand paper scuff the shoe surfaces as well as the drum surface with a criss cross motion, if all that fails to fix it replace the shoes = done this methood many times, most often the first works but sometimes the second process must be done = replace shoes

Wrong friction material on the shoes. Ford had a TSB on brakes locking up first thing after setting all night.. Had a different shoe to correct this. Did a E-350 that did this alot and shoes on close inspection were cracked. Installed a set of medium priced shoes shortly had same problem. Got the premium Wagner shoes and truck been gone 2.5 years.
