Default ? on block work in illinois

so the time has finally come to redo the motor in my 94. after 128k miles i think it deserves it. my question for everyone is if anyone knows of a shop in the central illinois area that does good work on redoin a block. nothing major, its just gonna be a basic clean up .030 over assuming that cleans everything up. if not then ill just find a different block. but as of now im just looking for a good shop to do the work, get it all cleaned up and machine it. assembly isnt that big of a deal to me, can handle that, just dont have the equipment to do the machining. any help from you guys will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Not sure EXACTLY what you would consider central IL..... but you should hit up ford strokers... They are about 30min from me (i live in St. Charles) or DSS is also right in my back yard, about 10 min from my door step!

After writing this, it amazes me i have 2 pretty well known engine places in my back yard, and i have yet to use either one.....

yea, i considered fordstrokers, but i wasnt sure if they would do engine work like that. i know they are more into the building stroker blocks stuff like that. all im really lookin for is to just have a good fresh bottom end to work off of. if i had the extra money i would definately just buy a stroked bottom end from them and go from there.
