Default c4/c5 opinion.

Hi guys i have a ? that i've been trying to get answered. I have a c5 that i'm rebuilding with c4 internals. i'm using the c5 drums. Now my question is in one of the drums just above the waffle spring there is a waved snap ring. Now i'm assuming that its there to cushion the apply. But in the c4 drum just above the waffle spring is a .75 snap ring.
My vehicle is only going to see track use but is changing the wave snap ring to a straight one going to see anything from it or don't bother? I hope that makes sense does anyone know what i'm talking about?

I personally haven't seen very many people that know the internals of a c4 that in depth but you might talk to silverfox over on

www.clickclickracing.com

Sounds like you are on a good start though using some c5 parts. Alot of people don't know what one is.

thx for the replies guys. I have one more question and i didn't want to make another thread so i'll ask here.
I've been searching through bulkpart.com for select fit snap rings and can't seem to find them. Can u purchase them from there? I've found the thrust washers.
I've searched a couple of other websites to see if i could find select fit snap rings. Can you not purchase these?
