Question CONTROL ARMS

Got an 86 GT,i'm trying to figure out what rear upper and lower control arms to upgrade to from stock. Was thinkin of going to the BBK control arms, are they junk?? or is it atleast an upgrade from stock? Hotchkis uppers and lowers are the other set i was thinking of purchasing, but is there really a difference that i can't see from pictures and from what i'm reading? They seem not identical but pretty damn close.

bbk are not junk, you will notice a diff from just having new bushings.

personally all i use are hpm mega-bite jrs

not too much need for uppers... feel free to do them but if your stockish and just running 12's or 13's you wont see any gain with uppers. lowers you will though

I'd never use BBK control arms. ever.

As for what arms you should use, well, that heavily depends on what type of use your car will be getting.

I only drive it on the street, well so far anyhow, but it will spend most of it's life on the street.

after having BBK products on my car (any were from control arms to headers to intake) i would never give that company another cent of my pay check! for the same price you can get soemthing much much better. My advice would be to get something that is at least one way adjustable

I've often wondered the same ? about the control arms but what's everyone's take on UPR upper and lowers b/c I've been looking at getting the Chrome molly ones.

Oh and I've never had an issue with the bbk long tubes on my car but that's just me haha.
