supercharged 331 on a stock block?

If I were to go with a NA 331 or 347 setup would I be losing my low end torque? Which application would be better for low end torque? I assume my compression ratio would be around close to stock around 9.0:1 if that makes a difference...

You most likely will gain torque from the increased stroke of the crank how ever cam choice really dictates this as well. He'll cuz the cam im running in my new motor im not gonna start to make over 200 hp.till about 4000

choose a flat top piston and a 58 cc head and you'll be around 10.5 to 1

Go ahead and run a stock block. I'm a 331(stock block) with 15psi+ of boost. Difference is, I don't beat on it that much. Plus it's an auto and I do a lot of 2nd gear roll-ons. Make sure you get a main girdle put on to help strengthen the block a bit. As for losing low end torque, it would all depend on the H/C/I combo thrown on as 5.0kid said. I reused my TFS stuff. Torque down low is slightly stronger, but the mid-range pull is much stronger.

Ideally, this is what i would like to do. have a car that is not a dd but could be... meaning i definitely still want it to be streetable - and reliable. If i were to keep it NA I would like to get at least up to 400 hp but still be able to pass CA smog. Is this hp goal at all feasible without including a power adder? I swear the more i research this the more confused i get...
i was looking at this kit from chp, dont know if it is any good or what kind of cam i should be running either...
