i paid 2300 for mine and it came with all the mods in my sig except the lower control arms know it is not a perfect car but if you car savy then you can make it a good daily driver for cheaper than paying someone i have had to replace just about every seal on the motor except the head gaskets and am about to do the oil pan gasket again. fun fun.

Thanks everyone. A lot of what you all said confirmed my suspicions. Overall 14K is a lot of money. It is a REALLY clean car, but not 14K clean IMO. I don't know anything about modding, but I do think that you never recover what you put into it.
They showed the me the file of receipts for the car and it looks as though the guy spent 17K on the car (I didn't do the math myself). However hat didn't seem to include the price for the car itself.
My biggest peeve though is that he won't even budge on the price at all. I think that means that they paid a lot for the car, and/or they aren't getting a lot of inquiries about it.
My first fox was an '88 GT, bone stock with 53K on it. I got it in 2001 and paid about $6500 for it. Since then I've owned a few others and tried to get them on the cheap, and the most expensive was $1800. All that taught me was that you get what you pay for, as I got the most drivability out of the 88 that I paid the most for. Knowing that, I think if I spend at least 5K I can get a clean, close to stock 80's fox 5.0. That sound about right?
