3.90 gears! ANYONE INSTALLED THESE?
Has anyone installed a set of 3.90 gears? i was getting ready to order a set of 3.73 gears and i read a little about the 3.90's. are they worth buying or should i still stick with the 3.73's? i drive my 1989 gt (manual) everyday to work and back. however there is a 1/8 mile drag strip close by and i want to run the car there every now and then. plus we have a vette fest here in the summer and id like to eat a few vettes between stop lights to.
1989 mustang gt, gt40 heads, cold air intake, full flowmaster exhaust, manual trans.

4.10 or leave it stock.
it's ok to leave it stock... i know a lot of people who are scared to go fast.
but if youd like a mediocre car go 3.73 all day long. gas mileage diff is minial at most when comparing 3.73 to 4.10 however torque multiplication is huge. 3.90 is for people who are a little more hungry than a wendy's single... but afraid to go with a triple if you get my drift
