Default Alternator for Underdrive pulleys?

I was told I need to get a different alternator once I install my underdrive pulleys because my stock alternator won't cut it? How many amps does it have to be and which is a good brand?

You need to define "won't cut it" because there is no simple answer for this question.

Will it work, Yes it will.

Will it charge the battery? 98% of the time it will. When you are driving, it's charging.

Will it charge at idle. No, especially with accessories like AC or rear defrost running. So it discharges for the few seconds you are idling at a redlight. SO WHAT. Your battery will not die.

It's more of a comfort thing. Most people like to see charge ALL THE TIME. I run underdrives with a stock alt. I have AC and since it's a daily I often use rear defrost and get stuck in traffic on my daily commute. This often cycles my electric fan and my battery and NEVER WENT DEAD.
