Well the guy who gave it to me said it's out of a truck, just got that code from classic mustangs. It did have the truck style intake on it before I tore the engine down. But I don't think just because it was in a truck means it's a better or worse engine though.

nope, they are all the same. The 302 wasnt designed in the same manner as the 350 SBC. We were never blessed with a 4 bolt main option. A 302 is a 302... the older they are, the better the metal was, and the webbings slightly thicker... but its 6 of 1, one half dozen of the other.
