Springs different between notch and hatch

Default Springs different between notch and hatch

i noticed that the springs are different part number for rear springs for notchback and hatchbacks. whats the difference?. notchback springs wont work in a hatchback?

i know i had hatchback springs out of a gt in my notch and there was about a 6 inch or more gap between the tire and wheel well

weight of the rear of the vehicle. that big sheet of glass in the hatch probebly required a different compression rate than the thin sheet metal trunk on the notch.
