Not everyone wants to drive in a car that constantly resonates and makes you deaf. Cars can sound good and be tolerable at the same time. People who just like loud usually have crappy sounding cars. Loud sounding does not necessarily mean good sounding.

Hooker makes decent mufflers, Aero Chambers and Max Flow. Also what Adder said, Magnaflow catback etc.

Agreed, loud does not equal good. BUT, he did not say he wants a good sound, he said he wants NO SOUND. That's what is odd about it.

Maybe he could convert to single exhaust, keep the cats, buy a Lexus muffler to put on it and run the tailpipes all the way back. And if that don't work, ear plugs are about the only other thing.

Why? I am far more impressed by a fast quite car, than a loud slow one. Generally people who have crazy loud cars also have slow ones. OP, you can always try running the biggest stock muffler you can fit and then run a set of resonators. For fun reading look what the old Silver Bullet did back in the old days to quiet things down.

My setup is pretty quiet inside the cabin but has a mean sound when outside.

MAC equal length headers, with a catted X-pipe that goes to a MAC cat-back. It's relatively quiet when cruising.
