heads/cam/intake high milage engine
i have a 92gt with just over 200,000km (approx. 124,000ml) the original owner was a old lady and she took very good car of the car its in real good shape, now my question is is it worth it to do h/c/i upgrade or will the bottom end be to weak? i dont want to build the top end up if the bottom end will just fail any input would be good. thanks

i spray my car with heads and intake and have 150k on the original bottom end
so your fine... do a compression check for the heck of it.... hopefully all cylinders are similar to each other ... over 125 would be nice.

I sc'ed a Mustang with around 140k miles and never had a single issue, it ran 12.4@112 with a bone stock motor and a Novi 1000. I have seen WAY more issues with rebuilt motors than original shortblocks, I really would not worry about it. Do a leak down test to make sure the rings are still good. A compression test only tells part of the story.
