in all seriousness though, i have a budget, and i woukd have to rent a engine puller, find a shop, im in the middle of nowhere, and if i got 185s it would cost more money for all tht extra work, for what? 50 hp that i dont even want to spend the extra money on? not everyone wants every single hp they can get. i can afford 165s, i cant afford the cam, i dont run into this much money often and i am usually broke any other time, and im not gonna wait months more just to save for a cam, when i dont even want an aftermarket cam, i emailed ed curtis about my goal, i feel a little better about getting advice from him.
That's why those of us who are actually intelligent, and who have never fly cut pistons... bring their shortblock to their local Mustang Race shop, and have them do it for $200.
Don't bring your attitude on this forum junior... I won't stand for it. I've got ALOT more experience with this stuff then you do, so you would be wise to listen when I speak.
