I'm pretty sure my pip sensor is going out and im planning on swapping out the whole dizzy for a piece what's best way to go? most economical? and reliable?.. thank you
I have run well in the 10s at over 130 mph with a stock distributor with no real problems. I think I would stay with a stock one and spend your money on something better for performance.

You could pick up an OEM replacement distributor from your local parts store.

Never heard of Richporter but if it is a OE replacement and has good electronics it should be fine and should work for you later down the road also.
