Mystery performance?

Mystery performance?
Not quite sure about other mustang setups, but we've been trying to think of possible upgrades the engine might have, or It might all be just normal.
Right now these are the bolt-ons I have:
- Underdrive pulleys
- Flowmaster Catback
- Cold Air intake
Everything else is stock!
Yet, the car does 13.5 quarter mile. Is this pretty much what would be expected with what it has?
Ill be doing a compression test next week to see if the bottom end was touched. But if that's a little quicker then expected, any idea on what you'd think it would be ?

I dont find it hard to believe. there are a few that will run better then others and some that are just pigs for some reason. That and you must be a pretty good driver also and traction must be good

Its possible the car could have gears. If there were any major engine mods you'd likely know it. Its not unheard of a foxbody 5.0 running 14s but 13s are very unlikely. However with good tires, a good temperature and elevation, and a darn good driver its not impossible to do so.

I'll be putting it on the dyno soon and know what's the compression. I dont feel like taking it apart just to know what's been put in.

My whole point was to see if anybody would think if maybe the bottom end would've been touched. In no way I'm saying its stock. I dont think a cam is in cause I'm pretty sure I'd at least hear the difference.

my '89 went 13.20's and the valve covers were never off the car.
i did however run that on 4.10's and sure your geared over stock....what kind of rpm are you at going 65-70
the door tag will say stock gears
m=2.73
z=3.08
e=3.27 but only available in aod cars
anyways.... 4.10, long tubes and et streets my '89 was good for 13.20's, spraying a 75 it went 12.50's
i bought the car about 6 yrs old, and it even had the silencer in it still. it was stock as a rock and if i remember about 68k
speed density cars run better than mass air cars. i've been in this game since 1990 and i can tell for sure.... thats the truth. yes mass air responds to swaps... but only if you had a drivability issue to begin with
my fastest 5.0 was my '89
my '93 sixties better and still runs way slower....that says a lot
