Holley blue fuel pump mounting ?
Hi guys i just finished installing a fuel cell into my 1990 coupe. Now i'm wanting to get rid of my mechanical fuel pump and upgrade my plumbing.
I'm curious where you guys have mounted your holley blue fuel pump?Looking for some ideas.
Second return line size does it matter. I'm going with -10an feed. I was going to use the same for the return. I didn't think it mattered, but i might as well ask.
Hope someone can chime in thx.

I had a red holley pump on my 460 tbird and the instructions stated the inlet of the electric pump should be at or lower than the bottom of the fuel tank for optimum results because the pump is gravity fed.

I have a blue pump and a sumped stock tank in stock location. I mounted my pump just above the fuel tank on the spare tire wheel well. Works just fine. All you see out the back of my car/fuel tank is one braided line going up, really clean looking.

The inlet and outlet of the electric holley pumps must be mounted below the lowest point of the fuel tank. This is necessary to allow for an adequate fuel supply. The holley electric pumps are designed to push fuel and not designed to suck fuel out of the tank. I dug up my old red pump instructions. It also states its the fuel that keeps the electric pump cool so you want a good gravity feed from below the fuel tank.

holley pump mounting.
Hi guys. I got some spare time so i climbed underneath and looked at where you guys suggested. To get the pump lower then my sump i'd have to use a drop bracket and also then the pump will be highly visible. I don't believe i'd like that too much.
Attached is a pic where i'd like to mount pump. Its a tad bit higher then sump though. Tell me what you guys think or what'd you do?
