Can I use 110 octane from the track
I have a 1995 ford GT mustang 5.0. Pretty much a stock engine. I talk to some guy's at work and they said I can mix a little amount of 110 octane mixed with a with 91 octane. If I can use 110 octane how much should I mix with 91 octane and would it help the performance of my car at the track?

how much slower do you want the car to be ??
you realize that octane REDUCES the combustability of gasoline right ? it is a deterrant for detonation
you HAVE to add timing to increase for the power loss of more octane.
FYI, turbo blue at my local station is only $8.99 i think (104 ????)
anyways compared to current gas prices.....it doesnt make sense cuz when gas was .89 a gallon....turbo blue was $3.99 so it only doubled when regular quadrupled
if your at 14* or less timing.....87 is fine unless it's about 110* out or crazy humidity. i spray on 12* if it's cool and 87 octane. otherwise i either drop to 10* OR use 89....but never both

I was having problems with detonation with a supercharged car and stuck in some race gas to see if it would help. A week later my wideband 02 sensor is f'd. Could have been fluke. I took it to the tuner and it was reading fine. Took it back a week later and it was 2 points off his.
