c6 swap

Default c6 swap

i have a c6 transmission i want to put in my notch behind a 302, how easily does one fit?

Don't bother wit it, it has a lot more drag than a C-4. Just use a C-4 with the proper flexplate.

Why do you want to put it behind the 302? I would advise against it also...no reason to need a c6 behind the 302

I already had the trans, im spraying my motor and dont have the money to build a c4. I would like to know if anyone has experience with swapping in a c6. I know building a c4 would be better but i dont have the funds to do that.

I have a c6 in my car, but its behind a 545 big block, little tight in some spots of the tunnel, but fits pretty good. Depending on mounts and whatnot, you may need to get out the hammer for a little "clearancing"

I see no reason for a C6 behind a 302 though, they suck up alot more power than a c4 and are alot bigger in size (weight)

Did you use your factory crossmember? What about a driveshaft?
